At the October Training weekend we held interviews for the vacant coaching positions. We were hoping to appoint two Association Coaches and one National Squad Coach.
It became apparent that although all three coaches who had applied for the positions were very well qualified there was not one that could cover all the disciplines i.e. air rifle and pistol at Stoke and .22 at the Wendover range.
The decision was taken to offer the coaches the following area’s which we felt would bring out their strengths and allow all members to be able to choose which coach they would like to work with.

The NSRA have had a few internal problems and the Rifleman has still not been sent out, it carry’s our advert for a ‘fast track’ coach, hopefully it will be distributed in the next few weeks. In the meantime if you know of a coach that you think would work well in our Association please pass on my email address to them.
