The countries best disabled shooters met up between 10th and 12th June 2005 to compete at the BWSF Shooting National Championships, held at Stoke Mandeville, Bucks.
Paralympians Di Coates and Isabel Newstead both retained their titles, in the Air Rifle and Pistol disciplines respectively.
Coates won the female SH1 title with an impressive score of 98.9 in the olympic final just ahead of Karen Butler.
Newstead easily retained her female pistol title from Carole Darnell in 2nd place.
In the SH1 Air Rifle Standing competition a close final between Nigel Brown and Elfed Weaver saw Brown just came out on top.
The competition for SH2 shooters saw Keith Hughes just beat off Terry Nelson in another close final. The SH2 junior title was claimed by Adam Fountan.
In the Pistol, Chris Summerscales was the eventual winner in the male competition, despite being pushed all the way by Trevor Budgen. Rikki Singh finished 3rd.
Both the Air Rifle Prone competitions were closely fought, with Nathan Milgate edging out Neil Brittan in the SH1 class. In SH2 Keith Hughes completed the double by beating Terry Nelson. Hughes was able to relax in the final scoring a superb 105.1. The Junior SH2 title went to Georgina Callingham.
The .22 competition was shot at the nearby Wendover Range on the friday morning with Trevor Budgen finishing strongly to defeat Karen Butler by just a single point.
